kenapa pake simle past sama past continous? soalnya dua kejadian tersebut memiliki selang waktu yang berbeda. "hal ini" terjadi saat "hal itu" sedang terjadi.
misalnya no. 4, "gempa terjadi saat aku sedang belajar di kamarku"
jadi, yang "belajar" ini sedang dilakukan (waktunya lebih lama) ketika tiba tiba "gempa" terjadi (waktunya sebentar). nah, yang sedang dilakukan ini pakenya past continous, kalau yang terjadinya sebentar itu pake simple past.
makanya jadi "was studying" sama "the earthquake 'happened'"
